With the dust from the lotus like feet of Sri Guru, iam cleaning the mirror of my mind
I describe and praise the glory of Lord Rama, the giver of the four fruits of life

Buddhiheena tanu janike sumirau pavana kumara
Bhala Buddhi Vidhya dehu mohi harahu kalesa vikaar

With the mind with less intelligence  I remember the Son of wind god
Grant me the Strength, wise, knowledge and remove all my sufferings and alignments.

Hanuman chalisa is composed by poet Goswami Tulasidas. The Chalisa is thought to be written in the late 16th century, during the time of his composition, Ramacharitra manas.

How many times do I need to chant Hanuman Chalisa

There are no restrictions on how many times to chant the Hanuman Chalisa, even if you read it a single time with true devotion understanding the meaning, it’s enough to get the divine bliss.

However, many use to chant the Chalisa once or twice daily. Some devotees even read it 7 times to get their wishes fulfilled.
